Rapper Holy Ten has torched a hornet’s nest after throwing tantrums at his erstwhile collaborator Winky D.
Social media users have since unfollowed the ‘mad rapper’ in their thousands on Instagram, sending a clear message to Holy Ten that he is not invincible.
“Honaka, tokufarira semafans . . . wadii wambosiya zita remaGaffa seminyarariro waanoita rako? Ndozvega here zvaGaffa,” one fan tweeted.
And Holy Ten responded: Wangu zita raJesu chaiye hamusati mamborirwira like this. Now I’m going to prove to you kuti Wallace (Winky D) haasi Mwari (You’ve have not fought for Jesus’ name in the way you’re doing for Wallace now I want to prove to you that he is not God).”
The Pressure hitmaker aka Mujaya had a fallout with Winky D following the release of their collab simply titled Ibotso off the politically charged album, Eureka Eureka.
Holy Ten also labelled Winky D as a manipulative ‘snake’ who used him on the song’s production.
Ibotso speaks of how the rich and powerful are taking all that the poor should be getting while Chauruka warns those in higher offices not to abuse the authority they have as one day that is bound to be lost.
The accusations came as no surprise after revealing that he regretted working with Winky D a day after the song was released.
That said, his followers on Instagram dropped from 288 000 to 274 000 within a week against his outburst to Winky D.
While Holy Ten distanced himself from the project despite performing the song at the album launch held on 31 December 2022, he also did not mention his capture by the political elites.
Critics say Holy Ten’s Mercedes Benz was bought for him by Zanu PF’s rich elites.
And unperturbed by the fallout Winky D remained mum while his legion of fans fought in his corner on social media.
