Comic Pastor has done a remix of Winky D’s track called Ibotso off his latest album Eureka Eureka!
The track is one of the songs that criticize corruption and greed by political elites and the well connected.
Ibotso originally features Holy Ten who surprised many when he made a U-turn soon after the launch by distancing himself from the project.
However, Comic Pastor did justice to his own version this time even tearing into the regimes ineptitude and also failure to address unemployment.
Comic Pastor raps over the beat but retained Winky D on the hooks.
He didn’t mince his words making sure the messages are as hard hitting as they possibly could get.
Comic Pastor is proving to be a musician of sorts and on Ibotso he meant serious business.
Since Eureka Eureka dropped is divided fans along political lines which is what music isn’t about.
Zanu PF youths claimed Winky D was being political and that he was siding with the opposition.
The youths went further to suggest that the album be banned although this was not only unfair but also silly.
Nowadays with the emergence of digital platforms there is no way music cannot be heard.
