Nash Paints group executive chairman — Tinashe Mutarisi — has assisted musician and drug addict Saintfloew to undergo rehabilitation in South Africa.
The Silas Mavende hitmaker checked into rehab yesterday in South Africa at the behest of Mutarisi, a huge fan of his.
This follows an interview with Star FM’s DJ Olla 7 in which Saintfloew was not out of character but visibly hooked.
Social media users who watched the interview streamed on Facebook were more than convinced that Saintfloew needed help with many commenting that he was under the influence.
“I realized he was a nice young man who needed help and we offered him what needed most. He came one day and told me he desperately needed rehabilitation. He said he was not into drugs, but one of his friends was into drugs,” Mutarisi told H Metro.
“He is a telented artist who has a lot of potential. He is also a role but he needs our help. We wish him the best in his fight against drug and substance abuse.”
Saintfloew came to prominence with the release of his chart topper Silas Mavende. He also collaborated with Winky D and Del Roy on tracks which became club anthems.
He is raised by a single mother Ebenezer Mambo after his father died when he was just two years. Ironically, Saintfloew’s Cheka was dedicated to Mutarisi, the man who has given him another chance following his drug addiction.
