Popular jiti musician Baba Harare real name Braveman Chizvino has hit back at Prophet Passion Java for denigrating him on social media.
The self-styled prophet had belittled Baba Harare on his Facebook page claiming that he was now a spent force.
“Nyora vaimbi 3 vapera usingaise Baba Harare naSeh Calaz,” Passion Java said.
He then continued his onslaught on Baba Harare saying he was kept and that he was nothing more than a muscle man.
“Hurombe hunotangira pakuita sevaimbi Baba Harare naBaba Moto vanorara parukukwe rwakatengwa namomz 1994.
“Vamwe vanoimba zvinonzwisa tsitsi senge tumhasuru twaBaba Harare,” Passion Java said.
However, Baba Harare then clapped back saying he was Passion Java’s wife’s favourite artist.
“Ukaona murume wese anondivenga ndiri favourite yemukadzi wake. “Musanditagger kuti ndirwe neuya uya. Handidi kusungirwa murder, ndanga ndakura zvakanaka wani,” Baba Harare wrote.
He then followed the post with yet another sucker punch calling Passion Java a fake prophet.
“Mwari ndinokutendai nezvipo zvamakandipa, kuimba, kutamba nekubata maporofita enhema. Amen.” Baba Harare added.
There seems to be bad blood between Baba Harare and Passion Java over their political views.
Passion Java is largely sympathetic to President Mnangagwa and he has been going to town campaigning for his 2023 presidential bid through his skits.
“President Mnangagwa ringobvu,” he screamed in one of his latest videos.
On the other hand, Baba Harare has of late been spearheading voter registration education to his followers on twitter.
Apparently, musicians and activist who raise awareness for people to register to vote are largely seen as belonging to the opposition.
But unlike Passion Java, Baba Harare has not openly supported a particular party or individual but his was just peer education.
And also Baba Harare does not pander to the whims of politicians as much as Passion Java does.
Attention seeker, mortar-mouthed and show off are some of Passion Java’s traits so much so that he tries too hard whether for likes or retweets.
