CAPTION STORY: A range of colourful T-shirts branded with portraits of Winky D, Jah Prayzah and Baba Harare are selling fast in ghettos around the capital. The T-shirts which are replicas of those made by top designers are popular among the ‘drip’ boys, the youths who are fascinated by bling. While drip is that latest word for swag, one vendor at Kuwadzana 4 shops only identified as Takue said he was enjoying brisk business from the sale of the T-Shirts. “The most popular T-Shirts are those branded with Winky D portraits. Those are selling faster than Baba Harare and Jah Prayzah,” he said. One T-Shirt is going for US$6. The T-Shirts are being printed by some enterprising youths making a killing from the popularity of the musicians.
