An irate radio listener openly accused Mai TT of being a prostitute live on Power FM’s afternoon show called Centre Stage.
Hostess, Chamvary had asked listeners to send in their voice notes commenting on Mai TT’s newly found flame Tinashe Maphosa.
The couple recently wedded and the nuptials were highly publicized by Mai TT, a socialite and social media influencer.
However, the woman poured cold water on what might have been an exciting interview which drew up to 10.3K views on Power FM’s Facebook page.
“Mai TT ringori hure chete,” the woman said in a voice note sent via WhatsApp.
Following the nasty comment, some of her followers reacted angrily and came to Mai TT’s defense.
“Amana voice note rechi2 iro mukadzi yeye ane bitterness chete shame anyway wherever you’re
get well soon darling Mai tt is now enjoying her life now,” wrote one fans.
Another fan reacted: “Second voice note awunyari pa 10k kungotaura zvisina musoro out of topic out of touch you must be ashamed of your self “
It was unusual of Mai TT to remain calm and just laugh it off as it she never heard it. Ordinarily, Mai TT would’ve thrown tantrums.
While the woman might have condemned Mai TT for quickly falling in and out love, there are other popular figures with similar backgrounds the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Elizabeth Taylor who is on record for marrying seven times.
And now with Mai TT she seems to be over the moon having exchanged vows with Tinashe whom she described as a gentle giant.
“He is a rare person, I ask myself how I deserved such a man. A lot of people think he looks like a gangster but he isn’t, he is a gentle giant,” she said.
She said their relationship was based on honestly and communication.
“He is fully aware of my past and when that incident happened I had already told him,” she explained about the recent tiff with her exes who were out to tear her down.
Emotions also got the better of Mai TT after Tinashe described her as a loving person who did not back down during adversity.
Tinashe said he was attracted to Mai TT for being a strong single mom who raised her two children.
He said he was inspired by Mai TT since he was also raised by a single mother.
