Author Dr Rinos Mautsa‘s first published book The Will of Time, sets out to narrate how maintaining perseverance, determination and resilience in humble beginnings become the mother of success. The Will of Time was recently launched at a glittering event and has so far received rave reviews. In this interview with Gem Nation News (GNN) Dr Mautsa (Dr) draws much from Ecclesiatics 3v1 which focuses on season and time. Read the excerpts:
GNN: Congratulations for the launch of your book, tell us what the title means?
Dr: ‘The Will of Time’. I took inspiration from Ecclesiatics 3v1, the verse says ’To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens’. In the journey of life everything happens for a reason and in the time that that it is supposed to happen. We often view trials and tribulations negatively and fail to understand that at times we face these adversities in order to be prepared for the great opportunities to flourish that lie ahead of us.
GNN: Could you tell us what the book is about?
Dr: The book is an ensemble of real life experiences, hardships and adversities that become the inspiration in an entrepreneurial quest for success. The book through different characters illustrate crucial business principles and narrate how maintaining perseverance, determination and resilience in humble beginnings become the mother of success.
GNN: Who is meant for the book?
DR: It is meant for people both young and old that are embarking on their entrepreneurial journeys in life. It is a book that will challenge all who read it to persevere through shortcomings in life and see themselves through to the other side.
GNN: Where is the book available?
Dr: My book is available from my Harare offices, people can check for details on my social platforms. The book is also available in Innova8 book stores throughout Zimbabwe and we in the process of getting the book into more bookshops, and will advise the public accordingly once the process is complete.
GNN: Is this your first published book?
Dr: Yes this is my first published book.
GNN: How relevant is the book in modern day Zimbabwe?
Dr: With the high rate of unemployment particularly amongst young people it is a call to motivate, a call to action and realise that in any journey or feat, fear will always be a factor, but in anything you do in life you must always persevere, you will strike gold if you stay focused, determined, affirmative and surround yourself with mentors and people who succeeded on the same path you are embarking on who can share the pros and cons of their experience so that you can factor that knowledge into yours and strive to success faster.
