South Africa-based Zimbabwean — Mr Brown — one of the headlining acts at JamAfro Festival scheduled for Alex Sports Club on April 2 is expected to arrive today as preparations for the mother-of-all concerts gather momentum.
Mr Brown is expected to touch down at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport later today where he will be welcomed by concert organiser Negos Negombwe.
A video of Mr Brown getting ready for the trip to Harare from Gaborone, Botswana where he performed before a sellout crowd has been doing the rounds on social media.
Mr Brown is a renowned record producer, singer and songwriter. For those not in the know, Mr Brown co-produced Master KG & Zanda Zakuza‘s hit, Skeleton Move as well as Xola Moya Wami by Nomcebo Zikode.
In 2020, Mr Brown produced more hits than any other producer. Apparently, Mr Brown is no newcomer on the mainstream music scene, in retrospect, he was also behind the 2017 hit Lazaro but features as Lynol.
Only recently, he features on a track he produced for Roki called Screenshot, which was also accompanied by a swanky video.
Mr Brown was born on 5 February 1990 in Zimbabwe. At a young age his heart led him to South Africa where his destiny awaited him.
His singing and recording music began in his bedroom in 2004. Through use of a computer and a few softwares which include Fruitloops, Mr Brown got together with his friends and made music in his bedroom studio.
Later on, they formed a group called Muungu Africa which released the hit song Lazaro. From that point onwards, Mr Brown became popular amongst artists and finally found a home when he was signed to Open Mic Productions.
His music is a fusion of Afro-house and Afro-soul to create heartfelt music that lasts a lifetime.
Mr Brown‘s music is inspirational, emotional as well as entertaining. There is always a message behind every song he makes. To date he is known for such hit as Thandolwam ft Nomcebo Zikode & Zanda Zakuza, Rain On Me ft Team Mosha and also Xola moya wami featuring Nomcebo (Produced by Mr Brown)

Admission to the show is US$15 for general ticket, US$30 for VIP and US$50 for VVIP tickets.
