In a heartfelt expression of gratitude, Prophet M. Chigova of the Anointed Family International Church has praised businessman and philanthropist Sir Wicknell Chivayo for his remarkable generosity, calling him a “blessing from God.”
“Thank you, Sir Wicknell, for sharing what God blesses you with. You are truly one of a kind because giving is not always easy,” Prophet Chigova said, his voice full of admiration. “Sir Wicknell’s actions show that wisdom is not just about accumulating wealth, but knowing how to use it for good.”
The Prophet continued with a poignant observation: “How many of us would be willing to donate something as valuable as an $8,000 car?
“ It’s rare for someone with such wealth to give so selflessly. Most of us are so tight-fisted that we can’t even share something as simple as a plate of sadza or rice. So, Sir Wicknell’s generosity is truly extraordinary.”
The praise for Chivayo’s charitable acts has extended beyond the religious community. Sekuru Tasvu, a well-known traditional healer famed for his ability to cast avenging spirits, also weighed in on the matter.
“We never discourage anyone from giving. Sir Wicknell’s support to the struggling musicians, many of whom are battling to make ends meet, is something commendable,” Sekuru Tasvu said, acknowledging the importance of his donations.
Sekuru Tasvu went on to explain that people should not judge Sir Wicknell on how he chooses to spend his money, and emphasized that his generosity can benefit anyone, not just a select few.
“To those who have received gifts from him, especially the cars, I encourage you to take good care of them. Looking after these vehicles will inspire more Good Samaritans like Sir Wicknell to continue giving,” he added.
The traditional healer also took the opportunity to share some health advice, urging people to be proactive about their well-being. “
Go for regular medical check-ups, particularly for diseases like cancer, which can be managed if detected early,” he said.
He also cautioned about the potential dangers of traditional herbs, advising people to use them carefully to avoid any adverse effects on their health.
While Sir Wicknell‘s philanthropic gestures have earned him praise across different sectors, it’s clear that his actions are being recognized not just for their impact, but for the message they send: that generosity, when done with genuine care, is a rare and valued trait.
Whether in the religious or traditional spheres, Sir Wicknell Chivayo’s contributions are leaving a lasting impression on Zimbabwe.
