Zimbabwean contemporary musician Jah Prayzah has roped Feli Nandi in one of the most anticipated collaborations on Sarungano.
Sarungano (loosely translates to storyteller in English) is a sad love story in which a relationship ends prematurely either due to death or some unforeseeable obstacles.
In this case, Jah Prayzah is separated from his love interest played by Feli Nandi at least according to the accompanying video which premiered Monday on YouTube.
The video takes viewers to what appears to be slave era when the slave masters had full control of what happens on their plantations/fields.
It appears the separation was necessitated by jealous.
The ‘boss lady’ had fallen for Jah Prayzah but then he was madly in love with Feli Nandi so in order to separate the two she had to get rid of Feli Nandi and perhaps take her somewhere far away.
That is basically the storyline but then the sad part is that the love never blossomed as it was prematurely ended.
As the song plays right until the end the two are separated giving it a sad ending.
Both Feli Nandi and Jah Prayzah delivered the very best in vocals and share a lot of chemistry between them.
There is plenty to enjoy and watch in the video as the two sing in each other’s faces, eye-ball to eye-ball while holding hands.
The collabo has been long time coming since Feli Nandi has been doing well on her own.
Sarugano will be featured on the album Chiremerera.
Jah Prayzah will be launching two album at the same time Chiremerera and Maita Baba which he described as Afro.
His Followers have always been torn between the traditional side of Jah Prayzah and the Afrobeats side.
So to cater for both tastes, Jah Prayzah decided to drop two album which satisfy both tastes.
