No Shower Hour in Big Brother Titans

Staff Writer

While the much-hyped Big Brother Titans got off to a flying start last weekend it appears the thrill is already gone!

And sadly, there will be no shower hour in order to clamp down the degree of nudity.

MultiChoice earlier made a claim that DStv subscribers didn’t like the shower hour.

Aside from the Sunday night evictions, Big Brother Titans will also retain the other dedicated programming events like the special Biggie diary sessions, Head of House games, Friday night parties and tasks.

The Big Brother Titans eviction of housemates will be done every Sunday night like Big Brother Naija.

During the week, Big Brother will announce who is up for eviction and on Sunday nights, the co-hosts will announce who will be walking out of the house.

Certainly, this will be one of the major things to watch out for in the show as the housemates will see things differently because of their different cultural backgrounds, making the whole show open to cultural diversification.

The highly anticipated, border-breaking #BBTitans is a fusion of Big Brother Naija and Big Brother Mzansi, featuring Housemates from both countries. The grand prize? An impressive US$100,000.

Helmed by BBNaija’s Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and BBMzansi’s Lawrence Maleka – co-hosts for this season of the much-loved franchise – the glittering launch featured performances by Boohle, D’Banj, Deep London, and Bontle Modiselle and the Bontle Modiselle Dance Studio.

As the dapper co-hosts said of this season: “It’s the first of its kind. We’ve got a group of powerful and influential young men and women from Nigeria and South Africa to come and play.” It’s going to be an exciting 77 days, so hold on to your hats!

As the slogan says, Ziyakhala Wahala. The co-hosts reminded Housemates: “Ultimately this is an entertainment show. Entertain us, and you just might win $100,000.”

Catch Big Brother Titans live, 24/7 on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 29.
