NetOne Answers National Call: Aligning Clean-Up with Vision 2030

On Friday, December 6, 2026, at a National Clean-up Campaign spanning from Kopje Plaza to the Rowan Martin Building in Harare, Linda Gutsa, the NetOne Public Relations Officer, addressed participants.

She stated that for NetOne, the clean-up campaign was a deliberate expression of their strategic pillar on Environmental Sustainability, which was firmly anchored in the National Development Strategy 2.

She explained that NetOne fully understood that sustainable development was not only about infrastructure and connectivity, but also about preserving the environment that supports economic and social progress.

She said the initiative was their practical response to the call by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, for institutions and citizens alike to take collective responsibility for a clean, orderly and dignified nation.

Gutsa conveyed that NetOne’s message to their customers and the community was simple but powerful: national development begins with individual and institutional discipline. She stated that clean environments promote health, productivity and pride, which are essential ingredients for Vision 2030.

She concluded by affirming that NetOne was playing its part — not just as a telecommunications provider, but as a responsible national asset that aligns its operations, values and corporate social responsibility with Government priorities.

She confirmed their commitment to supporting national programmes that build resilient communities and a sustainable future for generations to come.
