South Africa-based Zimbabwean producer — Mr Brown — has roped sungura star Alick Macheso and Makhadzi for a collaboration due out soon.
This is the first time these top musicians have come together for what promises to be an epic production.
Makhadzi has previously collaborated with Mr Brown on Magear and Jah Prayzah on Kokovha which turned out to be hits.
And this time, she will be sharing the mic with Alick Macheso who come from a sungura background.
But Macheso is such a versatile artist. Remember when he featured on Freeman hit Ngaaibake?
Well, it turned out to be a hit after he laced his vocals over a pop beat. Ngaaibake is one of the biggest collaborations featuring Macheso and Zim dancehall artist.
Details regarding the collabo are still sketchy but safe to say the record is being mastered and fans can expect it before year end.
Music promoter Negos Negombwe of JamAfro confirmed via his Facebook page that indeed, something was in the offing.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I had the privilege to hear this song. Africa get ready to dance aya ma1 ,” he wrote.
Negos has worked with Makhadzi on a number of shows and he confirmed the upcoming single is worth the wait.
