South African musician Makhadzi opened up at the weekend saying she wants to return the favour to Jah Prayzah.

In a tweet, Makhadzi who was in Harare for the JamAfro Festival held at the weekend where she was the headline act told Jah Prayzah that she wanted was ready for their collaboration.

“Jah Prayzah I owe you a song and I am in Zimbabwe what do (you) think,” she captioned the tweet with some fire emojis.

Later Jah Prayzah acknowledged how indebted she was and replied:” Makhadzi you know I believe in your vide always. Let’s create more magic. Studio has been cleared for you today and I am ready for this one.”

The two artists have collaborated on Makhadzi song titled Kokovha where Jah Prayzah waxed lyrical on a fast paced beat, just the way the Ghanama singer is known for.

The video released in October 2020 has so far garnered 1.4 million views on YouTube and still counting.

For some reason Makhadzi didn’t perform the song since Jah Prayzah was not part of the bill at JamAfro Festival.

However, Makhadzi literally brought the curtain down leaving festival goers wanting more.

She performed some of her best songs coupled by scintillating dance that had the crowd eating out of her palms.

The crowd loved every minute and danced to each song. It felt like she was performing before a home crowd across the Limpopo where she’s based.

Supporting acts the likes of Mr Brown, Jah Master, Suluman Chimbetu, Juntal, Feli Nandi and Freeman HKD were equally exciting.

However, Jamaican Neelah received a warm reception since it was the first time for most people to hear her sound.

That said, she was dressed for the occasion in a sexy leotard showcasing her exposure to international stages.
