South African dancer and singer — Kamo Mphela — is the headlining act at Castle Braai Fest scheduled for Old Hararians Sports Club on Saturday 19 October 2024 starting at 10am until late.
Kamo Mphela whose real name is Kamogelo Matona is a firm favourite with Zimbabwean fans with her chart topper Dalie.
She became an internet celebrity after she posted on social media a video showcasing her crazy dancing skills.
Her passion for dancing started at an early age, when she accompanied her father who worked at YFM and at events where she would perform on stage and dance which eventually led to her getting more exposure through live performances.

Before pursuing her dancing career she had tried acting and had got a chance to be an extra on the TV soap Isibaya, but she later realised that it was not for her and she started performing as a dancer at gigs.
Her dancing skills eventually got her the name “Queen of Amapiano” and those who watched Miss South Africa 2024 would attest to her electrifying performance.
Kamo Mphela will ignite the stage alongside local acts Winky D, almost a regular now, the fiery Master H and the singer who loves his tea — Saintfloew.
There is also a host of local DJs to entertain music lovers between intervals the likes of Etherton Beenie, L Roy, Irvine (Carling Black Label National DJ Champion for 2023) and Toxy Gen.
Kundayi Mawema (DELTA LAGERS – Marketing Manager) urged music lovers to come and create memories.
