Rapper/singer Takura is finally getting the recognition he truly deserves as the headlining act at Fiesta Fiesta party on November 19.
The Fiesta Fiesta concert is scheduled for Alex Sports Club starting at 3pm.
Takura aka Mr Okay Okay is climbing high with his chart topper Wandachuza, a trap/soul number which is a favorite of many.
The love song talks about true love and that when one chooses who they want to love or be with, family members should not have a say.
“One time okay I okay kay yeah I’m jus’ tryna love you, put no one above you, ndiwe wandachuza baby ndiwe, ndiyani anopikisa, ndiyani anobvunza, ndati ndiwe wandachuza babe ndiwe, I know that you want me . . . ,” Takura sings over a lingering beat.
This got to be the song of the moment and if you walk to any club this is a banger!
But Takura isn’t a one hit wonder. He has several other hits that will make the crowd jump on their feet.
Previously Takura rocked the charts with Mhofu Yemukono, a ditty which he dedicated to his totem Mhofu/Mpofu.
Takura’s ability to pen easy to sing along songs has been his greatest achievement.
And he also makes it easy to switch from trap/soul to hip-hop.
Besides Takura, there are several supporting acting in the likes of DJs Chucknosis, Raydizz, Fujee, Zulu, MC Ct, Made Her Believe, Ace Fvr and Tinashe on the turntables.
Fiesta Fiesta an outdoor music and braai hangout has grown with each edition with exciting line up of performing artists.
The last edition featured Umlando hitmakers from South Africa who put up a great performance.
