Fastjet Zimbabwe is set to expand its regional network with the introduction of a new Harare–Lusaka scheduled flight service, commencing Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
The airline will operate three weekly flights—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—using a 50-seater Embraer ERJ145 aircraft, known for its comfort and efficiency on regional routes.

Fastjet Zimbabwe spokesperson Nunurai Ndawana highlighted the significance of the new route, stating:
“Zimbabwe and Zambia have a symbiotic relationship across multiple sectors. This route reaffirms our commitment to furthering economic and social development in the Zim-Zam region. For 10 years, Fastjet Zimbabwe has proudly served the Zimbabwean community, and we are delighted to extend our commitment to Lusaka.”
Fastjet Zimbabwe Business CEO and Country Head Donahue Cortes emphasized the airline’s unique early morning departure, catering to both business and leisure travelers.
“No other airline offers an early morning flight on this route. Our schedule allows passengers to maximize their day upon arrival. The Lusaka morning flight joins our existing sunrise flights to Bulawayo and Johannesburg,” said Cortes.
With this expansion, Fastjet Zimbabwe continues to strengthen its regional connectivity, providing travelers with affordable, convenient, and reliable air travel options.
Fastjet offers flexible booking change options and generous free baggage allowances across its network of flights.
