Bhundu Boys founder member Rise Kagona who died in Scotland last month will be buried at Warren Hills Cemetery on Saturday at 2pm
According to Clever Kagona, the song, Kagona‘s body will depart Scotland on Thursday 24th October 2024 and land at R.G national airport in Harare Zimbabwe on the 25th at 11:05 am, the process at airport will take about 2hrs then will go to the poulour, Claremont Parlour 147 Harare Street.
“There will be a church service Claremont Parlour. After the service at the Parlour the funeral procession will head home in Mufakose house Number 3 Muvanga Street where Rise’s body will lie in state.
“The burial will take place at Warren hills cemetery at 2pm on Saturday. The procession will leave Mufakose for Warren hills at 1pm.
“Thank you all for the enormous support thus far and you’re all welcome to help give a resounding send off to one of the greatest music icons to emerge from Zimbabwe. R. I. P Rise Kagona.”
