Stage set for Vic Falls Carnival 2023!

The posters are up, the stage is set and what is left now is for revellers to make their way to the Vic Falls Carnival.

With only a day to go before the start of the Vic Falls Carnival this Friday, the excitement has already reached fever pitch.

Dubbed as “Africa’s most exhilarating music and adventure festival”, the next three days until 30 April will be abuzz with thrills and spills at the 11th Edition of the Vic Falls Carnival now a major draw card to the resort town.

Set in the heart of Africa in one of the Natural Wonders of the World, the carnival not only takes place in one of the most beautiful places in the world, but it also offers fans from around the globe adrenalin-pumping adventure activities and curated music events during the day building up to the nightly, main music attraction – the Vic Falls Carnival Main Stage.

Festival goers can get up to 15% discount courtesy of partnership between Vic Falls Carnival organisers and South African Airways off flights between Johannesburg and Victoria Falls, Accra, Cape Town, Durban, Harare, Kinshasa, Lagos, Lusaka, Mauritius, Windhoek, and Lilongwe.

No doubt, this means the Vic Falls Carnival has grown leaps and bounds to attract attendees from other African countries where South African Airways operate from.

All passengers flying between the period of 17 April and 5 May 2023 can benefit from the special SAA.

“The Vic Falls Carnival main stage at Elephant Hills Resort features a stellar lineup of over 30 of Africa’s hottest music acts on one stage from Friday April 28 to Sunday April 30, 2023,” the carnival organisers said.

“Vic Falls Carnival has once again created the best way to spend three days at Victoria Falls. Travel, adventure, and of course, African music, all in one renowned setting, Africa’s majestic Mosi-oa-Tunya, the smoke that thunders.”

Some of the performing artistes who have been confirmed at the festival are Black Motion, a South African house duo, Zimbabwe’s contemporary musician Jah Prayzah, Mzansi’s mmapiano musician Musa Keys, Mafikizolo, Andrea the Vocalist, Mi Casa, Enzo Ishall, songbird Anita Jaxson and Oskido, to mention just a few.

The carnival’s general access ticket for day one pass is pegged at US$50, two-day pass is US$65 and three-day pass cost US$90.

For the VIP ticket, a three-day pass is selling at US$295.

It includes access to a VIP viewing deck with a private VIP bar and toilet facilities, private pool party (April 29), sunset cruise that will include drinks and snacks.

The pass also allows the holder to attend live performances at Pure Africa on April 28 and April 29.

It also includes a private VIP party with headline acts on April 30.
