Sungura musician First Farai has released his 20th album titled: Chigwagwagwa: Ndopinda Nepauri Ipapo (bulldozer) and it’s a sure fire hit.
The album features most popular artists who delivered the very of sungura making it one of First Farai’s best albums to date.
Born Aliya Mwanambo, First Farai has displayed there is power in numbers on this collaborative effort.
On Sungura Riddim, he roped some of the best of the best including Tindo Ngwazi, Solo Moyo, Simon Mutambi, Tendai Dembo, Mathew Perego, Romeo Gasa, and Joseph Garakara to mention just few.
The track is beautifully made and the beat is fast paced and every other artiste who rode on it waxed lyrical.
It is a love song where First Farai calls on his friends to intervene after his relationship went sour.
So in order to salvage the marriage the featured artistes had to ensure they waxed lyrical saying all the right words.
It is a perfect song when you are driving on a long journey and each time First Farai introduces new artist there is great anticipation.
And the song peaks with each artist which makes it a sure fire hit from start to finish.
First Farai was not selfish to steal the show but he gave his colleagues a piece of the cake.
And each one did not disappoint.
Obviously, Sungura Riddim is one of the plug tracks but there is plenty to enjoy on the album Chigwagwagwa: Ndopinda Nepauri Ipapo.
Other songs on the album worth listening to are Zvinoda Kutendwa, Munamato Wababa, Sahwira and Sweet Mother.
