Harare — In a significant move to improve road safety and reduce congestion, the government has unveiled plans to construct a new interchange at the notorious Mabvuku turn-off.
This development is expected to bring relief to thousands of commuters who use the busy junction.
The Mabvuku turn-off has been a source of frustration for many commuters, with congestion and safety concerns being a major issue.
The new interchange is expected to address these problems, providing a smoother and safer journey for motorists.
The project is part of a larger initiative to upgrade the Liberation Legacy Way and construct interchanges at other key junctions in Harare, including Harare Drive/Mutare Road and Liberation Legacy Way/Churchill Road. This ambitious project aims to improve the city’s infrastructure and support economic growth.
The new interchange is expected to have several benefits, including improved road safety as the new interchange will reduce congestion and improve traffic flow, reducing the risk of accidents, reduced travel times with improved traffic flow, commuters can expect to save time and reduce their travel costs.
