South Africa’s chart-topping music outfit — Murumba Pitch —- is set to headline the first ever Coca-Cola Unplugged Food Festival scheduled for 20 April at First Capital Bank Sports Club in Mt Pleasant.
Also on the bill are Zimbabwean artists the likes of Vira and Husbands, Enzo Ishall, Takura and King 98.
On the DJS line up are Rimo, Naida and TK Beats.
The family show will bring diverse talents and performances from 2pm until 10pm with advance tickets selling cheaper than at the gate.
Adults will have to pay US$10 and Chill Zone going for US$50 while children under 12 will pay US$5.
It will not just be music throughout but a lot of gastronomy activity for the foodies.
Both Enzo Ishall and Takura have made some comeback into mainstream music scene with the rapper releasing his single Sofa Silahlane.
King 98 will also feature buoyed by the success of his previous releases including the hit with Tamy Moyo.
But no doubt the focus will be on the South Africans— Murumba Pitch known for such hits as Hamba Juba, Mali, Khongela, Ngeke and Wena Dali among others.
Murumba Pitch is a dynamic duo from South Africa. They are singers, songwriters, producers, and performers who started their musical journey in 2012. Since then, they have been consistently creating hit songs and albums.
Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Murumba Pitch is made up of two gifted artists: Emmanuel Mathye and Khathutshelo Innocent Mangolo, also known as Maeywon.
Emmanuel developed a love for music at a young age and actively participated in gospel music at his local church during his childhood. As he grew older, he discovered the Amapiano music genre and pursued it passionately to fulfill his music career and dreams. Today, he is recognized as one of the greatest Amapiano hitmakers.
