Zimbabwean hip-hop artiste Maskiri’s label Tateguru has appointed Elias Nyamaropa as its new publicist.
In a statement the label announced: “We are thrilled and excited to communicate the appointment of Mr Elias Tineyi Nyamaropa aka TheSpear as the new Artiste and PR Management for Maskiri Music.
“This comes after a long way of underground discussions, sharing of ideas and mutual considerations concerning the brand and its operations.”
TheSpear carries a vibrant and energetic proved, track record of Arts Management including working history with prominent HipHop artists in Zimbabwe and beyond.

Maskiri aka Alishias Musimbe is one of the pioneering urban grooves artists who emerged at the turn of the millennium.
His music and easy rap style influenced other rappers including TiGonzi, another firebrand in the genre.
