CAPTION STORY: Rapper/singer Leonard Mapfumo has announced date for his homecoming show in Harare sometime this year in April. Mapfumo who is one of the pioneering urban grooves artists relocated to the United Kingdom where he among other things found love. In a post on Facebook Mapfumo write: “I am excited to announce that my first official show for 2024 will be on 6th April in Hatfield. I will be performing with a live band and the show is going to be a special one for me as I will be launching a couple of new projects after a long time . . . So let’s make a date for the 6th of April.” naMapfumo as he is known on stage rose to fame with his collabo with Roki on Seiko, Maidei. The rapper also topped charts with 2 Chete. The show brings a lot of fond memories especially for those who enjoyed and loved urban grooves.
