Holy Ten seems to be sinking fast into descent, stalked by problems of his own making.
The rapper took a walk of shame at the weekend after fans booed him at Unplugged Coca-Cola Food Fest at First Capital Sports Club.
What could have been a great outing for Holy Ten ended in jeopardy as he infuriated fans by dissing Voltz JT. In an unprovoked attack, Holy Ten said Voltz’s last album was mediocre!
The Madhafela singer said Voltz JT recent offering was “pathetic”, and accused the Mkoma Brian singer of blaming him for it.
“Haikona kushandisa mazita evamwe vanhu kana album risinganakidze, kundiblamer inini, Keep my name out of your mouth,” he screamed on stage.
The Delilah singer had initially received a warm welcome before his outburst against fellow rapper and former stablemate, Voltz JT.
Just as he was about to end his performance, Holy Ten asked the crowd if there were Voltz JT and Winky D fans – to which he got wild cheers.
Apparently, most Voltz JT fans did not take the diss lightly and started booing Holy Ten before ending his act prematurely.
He then stormed the stage topless, appearing drunk, intending to jump off the barricade into the crowd before he was restrained by alert bouncers.
He then shouted that “UZ ine makomba” which means (The University of Zimbabwe has whores).
It could have turned ugly had Holy Ten crossed over to the audience.
Clearly, Holy Ten’s dislike of UZ students is not without a reason.
Before Holy Ten got married to Kimberly Richards aka Mai Juju, a former UZ student, they were the best of buddies with Voltz JT.
However, word has it that while at the UZ, Voltz JT once dated Kim, something which could be the source of conflict between the two.
The conflict continued in music, something which caused Voltz JT to be kicked out of Holy Ten’s Samanyanga Studios.
On the song Gore, Voltz JT drops a verse dissing Holy Ten and his collaborators Mr Candy and Michael Magz.
