August 31 every year is a hive of activity in Harare as it marks the last day of Zimbabwe Agricultural Show.
It being the last weekend before schools open, it comes with a lot of activities and entertainment for family and friends.
Well, last weekend was no exception as music lovers were spoilt for choice.
But who could imagine that on a day like that the weather would turn things upside down.
Not only was it windy and cold, the weather was just deterrent enough for any outdoor gatherings.
One of the top billing shows was the edition of Unplugged Coca-Cola Food Fest, a vibrant celebration of music, food and premium outdoor experience held at First Capital Sports Club, Harare.
Following the success of the last festival, it was only expected that the August edition would pull another bumper crowd and it did save for the fact that fans had to brave the chilly weather.
The Coca-Cola Food Fest offered plenty to like and enjoy the food vendors, international music act, top local artists, renowned DJs and an array of photo opportunities for socialites.
The headlining act was South Africa’s top musical genius, Tsholofelo Mokhine known as Felo Le Tee in the musical spheres.
He performed his popular tracks are Ngwana Mani, 66, and Dipatje Tsa Felo and Yebo Lapho generating enough heat to warm revellers.
Also featured were local musical acts Killer T aka Chairman whose track Kana Ndanyura was a showstopper, Holy Ten, Tamy Moyo, Travellers Band and Melyssa.
Also not to be outdone were DJs on rotation the likes of Rimo, Chiweddar, Springer, DJ TK Beatz and DJ SB.
What would be a food fest without an array of gourmet food trucks, local restaurants, and culinary artisans.
Definitely it was an experience worthy to cherish especially the inclusion of Smokey Hut, Burger Thangs, Chicken Hut, Bird5 Nest and Love Sushi. Fans also got free Coca-Cola upon arrival ensuring everyone had something to eat and drink!
