The prayers are rising higher. And this Africa Day, Bulawayo is about to become the spiritual heartbeat of the nation.
In a powerful partnership blending soulful worship with seamless organisation, Nyaradzo Group — the dynamic force behind financial, insurance, risk, and event management solutions — has joined hands with the fast-rising Ekhaya Worship Festival for its much-anticipated second edition.
What does that mean for festival-goers? A top-tier concert experience where the only thing you’ll worry about is lifting your hands in praise — because Nyaradzo has got everything else covered.
Led by the charismatic gospel minister Everton Mlalazi, this year’s Ekhaya Worship Festival has outgrown its own debut.
What started as a music event is now a full-blown movement — a sacred gathering of worshippers from Bulawayo, surrounding towns, and even across the Limpopo from South Africa. It’s a place where prayer meets performance, and where local talent shares the stage with regional giants.
A Line-Up to Shout About
The 2026 edition is shaping up to be a gospel lover’s dream. Already confirmed is South Africa’s beloved Zanele “Zaza” Mokhethi, returning to Bulawayo after her electrifying 2025 appearance alongside Spirit of Praise.
Also back by popular demand is Oncemore Six, who headlined the very first Ekhaya Festival and is ready to set the stage ablaze again with anthems like Ohlonitshwayo, Themba Lendawo Yonke, and Umkhuleko WeBandla.
Then there’s Takesure Zamar Ncube, set to perform his soaring new single Rubatsiro — a song drenched in faith and spiritual fire. And here’s a moment worship fans won’t want to miss: a joint performance of Zuva Rangu, the beloved collaboration between Ncube and Mlalazi from Mlalazi’s album In The Presence 3: Great God.
More Stars, More Praise
The altar is crowded with talent. Also taking the stage:
Dumi Mkokstad, Canaan Nyathi, and the spellbinding a cappella group Reality 7 — who beautifully blend contemporary gospel with the haunting harmonies of traditional isicathamiya.
Add to that Dunamis Men, Conquerors, Pastor Barak Family, Zimpraise, Family Voices, Mai Mwamuka, Lorraine Maplanka, Vocal Ex, and Blessing Jeduthun — and you’ve got a worship marathon that could shake the heavens.
Mlalazi’s New Sound
And of course, Minister Everton Mlalazi himself will take the mic to unveil songs from his latest album, Great God (released earlier this year).
A project centred on worship, praise, devotion, and spiritual renewal, it promises to be the emotional core of the festival.
