R&B lovers, brace yourselves — Joe Thomas is making a long-awaited return to Harare!
The smooth-voiced crooner behind hits like “I Wanna Know” and “Good Girls” is set to light up the Old Hararians Sports Club on August 12, 2025.
But here’s the catch — it won’t come cheap.
Fans will have to pay through the nose, with general access tickets pegged at a cool US$50 — a hefty price for the average local fan.
And let’s not forget: it’s an open-air venue, not quite the luxury of his last stop at the plush Harare International Conference Centre back in 2008.
That 2008 gig? Legendary. The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority rolled out the red carpet and gave fans free access as part of their “celebrity host” initiative to promote destination Zimbabwe.
The show was packed, and Joe even squeezed in a trip to the majestic Victoria Falls, where he was wowed by “The Smoke That Thunders.”
Fast-forward 17 years, and Joe is finally keeping his promise to return — only this time, it’s strictly business.
No free passes, no frills — just R&B realness under the Harare stars. The organizers are keeping mum on who’ll be warming up the stage, but the main act alone is enough to draw in die-hard fans craving a night of silky vocals and slow grooves.
With doors opening at 4 p.m., it’s shaping up to be a night of romance, nostalgia, and timeless soul music.
But the big question remains: will fans cough up the cash for a night with Joe, or will the price tag leave them saying, “I don’t wanna know”?
Either way, the countdown to croon is on — and if you’ve got the bucks, you’re in for a serenade to remember.
