Fans stand still as Jah Prayzah performs Mudhara Achauya

Jah Prayzah has got a rich discography of hits no one can deny that.

But his challenge is which song to play and for which crowd. The worst case scenario is when he chooses to perform Mudhara Achauya, a song with heavy political undertones, to a wrong crowd.

And when he performed the song at Chibuku Neshamwari National Dance Festival it felt a lot like an insult to the crowd which was predominantly youthful.

It was all the more startling to see fans at the Harare Gardens without shaking an inch when he performed the song.

Arguably, the crowd might have been tired already since Jah Prayzah took to the stage after another performance by Killer T.

However, seeing that the energy was low in the crowd, Jah Prayzah quickly switched to Dangerous one of his chart toppers.

But perhaps it came a little late and also he was racing against time since his set lasted for just one hour.

This year Chibuku Neshamwari Dance Festival ended with the mother of all grand draws in the Chibuku Big 60 Promotion where four consumers won new Nissan Navara single cabs.

The promotion marked 60 years of Chibuku and what a better way to celebrate than afford winners brand new cars each.

Added to this, the Chibuku celebrated the 60th anniversary with new Chibuku Super Banana Flavour from Delta Beverages.

The new banana flavoured variant is brewed with the same traditional taste profile as its sister brand, offering a unique and carbonated taste experience, with a well-balanced flavour.

The Chibuku Super Banana Flavour is a game changer in the Traditional African beer category as it presents a wonderful drinking experience – the slow drinking goodness and satisfying taste of a flavoured traditional beer offering that can be consumed at anytime, anywhere.
