Worship music star — Everton Mlalazi — will headline a concert scheduled for Carnival City in South Africa this Sunday 28 April 2024.
Dubbed as “Exclusive Night with Everton Mlalazi and Friends” the concert features the talents of Sindi Ntombela, Mmtema, Ncebakazi Msomi and Canaan Nyathi.
The concert starts at 5pm at Mardi Gras Theatre.
The concert is a deliberate move by Mlalazi to take Zimbabwean gospel music beyond borders having performed in Nigeria before.
This concert across the Limpopo makes it easier for Mlalazi to really spread the word and minister through music since Zimbabwe and South Africa share a lot in common including history and people.
And being versatile artist that he is, Mlalazi will belnd well when he performs before the South Africah crowd.
Almost like performing before a home crowd Mlalazi who sings in several languages including English, IsiNdebele and Shona will connect with the crowd as he will not only serenade South Africans but also Zimbabweans.
The long and short of it is that Mlalazi’s brand of music will connect in the region in more ways than one.
He credits God for showing up in his life whenever he thought all had failed.
He believes the message of hope is one people must never tire of sharing or receiving, especially when it seems tough, times keep getting tougher.
Mlalazi is married to Gamuchirai and the couple is blessed with three children Natasha, Keisha and newly born son named Nathan Ntutuko Efren or simply EM Jnr who are part of the reason he lives in hope.
