Construction of a multi-billion dollar Beethoven Hotel owned by businessman and preacher Prophet Uebert Angel has started in earnest.
The building of the gigantic hotel which is situated next to Harare Hippodrome has already begun and is expected to house the biggest indoor conference centre in Zimbabwe.
Unbeknown to many that there is a separate project being built next to the Hippodrome, the Beethoven Hotel with 40 executive rooms.
Angel could not be reached for comment but besides the Beethoven Hotel, there are other projects that the man of God is building as he expands his business portfolio and investment in Zimbabwe.
Taking after his mentor Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy, Angel has of late been giving up his larger than life persona to one that’s caring, humble and loving.
So far, he’s given up some of his assets and property to charity.
According to sources close to the developments the two share cordial relationship which impacted positively on the life of Prophet Angel who already has assets in France and the United Kingdom worth millions of US dollars.
Angel owns a 4-star hotel in France, and with a real estate company, the man of cloth seem to believe a lot in properties after having acquired a couple buildings in the UK and USA.
In Zimbabwe alone, Angel has managed to grow more branches even in his absence. The Good News Church has branches in Bulawayo, Gweru, Chiredzi, Vic Falls, Mutare, Rusape, Bindura, Kadoma, Chinhoyi Kariba, Harare.
In addition, his ministry has also spread in places such as Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria, and other countries like Zambia, Botswana, St Dominic, St Lucia in the Caribbean, Netherlands, France, New Zealand, Aussies, England, Ireland, Canada and USA.
