The 23rd Edition of the National Arts Merit Awards has officially opened its call for nominations for the NAMA23 People’s Choice Award.
The People’s Choice Award is one of NAMA’s most special awards as it is the only one where the people of Zimbabwe get to choose who they believe is most deserving of the accolade.
Tinashe Kitchen the NAMA Director said Zimbabwean artists from all genres (song, dance, theatre, literature, spoken word, comedy, visual arts, television, and radio) can be nominated for the People’s Choice Award.
“Nominations will close on the 5th of February, after which the top 5 nominees will be announced.
“To vote, members of the public are encouraged to log on to:
https://gatewaystream.com/nama and cast their nomination. Voters may also visit any NAMA social media platforms (@namaszim) to vote and for more information,” Tinashe said.
