HARARE – The founder and president of Concord for Young Women in Business, Ambassador Apphia Musavengana, on Wednesday welcomed an eight-member delegation from the Kingdom of Eswatini, underscoring the deepening ties between the two nations.
The delegation, led by Prince Lindani—son of King Mswati III—was received by Ambassador Musavengana before proceeding to State House for a courtesy call on President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The visit signals continued close cooperation between Concord for Young Women in Business and the people of Eswatini, who have been actively involved in the organisation’s empowerment programmes, including the successful Iconic Africa Summit.

Prince Lindani and his delegation are welcomed in Harare by Amb Apphia Musavengana.
“I was honoured to receive on arrival my good friend His Royal Highness Lindani and his delegation from the Kingdom of Eswatini,” Ambassador Musavengana posted.
“In my capacity as the founder of @ywibzorg_global we have signed various collaboration agreements with other women led empowerment organizations in the Kingdom. We have HOPE in our Motherland, #WeNkosi #bayethewenawaphakathi”
Zimbabwe’s UN Security Council Seat in Focus
Speaking after the meeting with President Mnangagwa, Prince Lindani revealed that the delegation had congratulated the President on Zimbabwe’s election to a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for the 2027–2028 term.
“We came here first to congratulate His Excellency on the milestone of Zimbabwe and what they have achieved thus far, being nominated and elected to represent the continent on the UN Security Council seat 2027–2028,” Prince Lindani said.
“His Majesty congratulates his dear brother on that, and he knows that the President is very capable.”
A Relationship Built on Mutual Respect
Eswatini and Zimbabwe continue to enjoy cordial relations, with cooperation spanning trade, investment, and other areas of mutual interest.
The visit follows President Mnangagwa’s trip to Eswatini in April this year, where he attended double celebrations marking King Mswati III’s 58th birthday and 40 years on the throne. The President also attended Eswatini’s 57th Independence celebrations in 2025.
