All white pool party to rock Kadoma

Ti Gonzi and Pah Chihera lead a cast of energetic youthful musicians to serenade music lovers at Nastro’s All White Pool Party this Saturday in Southgate Park.

The pools are located about three kilometres from Kadoma CBD along the Harare-Bulawayo highway due south.

The pools are close to newly opened Sichel service station via Annex turn-off.

The lofty party comes at a time the festive season is upon us and gigs in full summer swing.

Event organizer Nastro, himself a hip-hop star, said he chose to put the party together to ignite the sleepy town.

“We’re now in the festive season, at the same time, a lot of people are coming home for the holidays.

“Since Kadoma is one big family, people need to meet, catch up on what’s trending, gossip and chat on the latest city offerings.

“Kadoma is a bit sleepy so I decided to add some spark and wake up our home.”

The year-end party is primed to pool peace, love and happiness among the citizenry who need a breakaway environment to refresh from the hustles they go through in their respective commitments during the course of the year.

“It brings peace, love and joy to our city. People will get to know each other as they mix and mingle.

“We’ve created a conducive environment for a big happy community,” commented Nastro on WhatsApp.

Sure-tounged hip-hop gem, Ti Gonzi said he is excited about coming to perform in Kadoma as it is his maiden appearance to descend on the city for a festive gig.

“I’m excited to be in Kadoma this Saturday since it’s my first time to perform there.”

Quizzed on his opinion of colour themed parties popularized during the wealthy socialite Ginimbi era, Ti Gonzi said he brookes no ill feelings over them.

Ginimbi popularized colour themed parties throwing such white only getties at fun-filled trendsetter occasions.

This time, it’s all white at the pool, far from the madding capital.

“I think they’re good, (white only parties), because it’s hip-hop. People want to enjoy life,” Gonzi said from his base in the capital.

Afro-fusion diva Pah Chihera leads on balancing the gender mix as she also churns out her popular soulful mellow feminine lyrics.

Pah Chihera thrives on love themed songs.

Local artists, who normally grumble over being sidelined at high profile gigs, are no spectators this time.

Buddo Knox, Sparta, Mapisarema and C-Jah Matsotsi cart along in a pack of Kadoma bred mic architects expected to liven up the summer pool jamboree. Let white lead.
