Namibia – Zimbabwe’s Ambassador Apphia Nyasha Musavengana, President of Concord for Young Women in Business Global, has been announced as a guest speaker at the prestigious Invest in Africa 2026 Trade Expo & Business Summit.
The high-profile event, organised by the Africa Economic Leadership Council, will take place from 28 to 30 May 2026 at the Municipal Tennis Court in Swakopmund, Namibia.
Amb Musavengana, a dynamic advocate for youth and women in entrepreneurship, will address the summit under the central theme: “Unpacking the AfCFTA and Access to Markets.”

Her session focused on how young African women can leverage the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to access continental markets, build cross-border networks, and drive inclusive economic growth.
As a speaker, Amb Musavengana shared insights on the critical role of positioning African women as champions of trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), highlighting the importance of creating inclusive opportunities, strengthening women-led enterprises, and removing barriers that limit women’s participation in regional and continental markets.
Her message underscored the fact that empowering women is not only a matter of equality but a strategic driver of sustainable economic growth, innovation, and prosperity across Africa.
By equipping women with the tools, networks, and access needed to thrive in trade, Africa can unlock its full economic potential and accelerate the realization of the AfCFTA vision.
The Invest in Africa 2026 summit is billed as the continent’s largest trade and business platform, bringing together policymakers, business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs from across Africa.
The three-day event will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, networking sessions, and a trade expo showcasing products and services from various sectors.
