Chibuku Road to Fame 2023 edition has now reached a homestretch with the conclusion of Mashonaland West provincial finals where Visionaries Band sailed through to the national finals.
There were 10 groups that took part with six of them being jazz outfits, three sungura bands and one Zim dancehall outfit.
However, it was Visionaries band, a jazz outfit which will present the province after beating Royalty Band in second position and The Dreamers in third position.

Preparations for the Chibuku Road to Fame National Finals are well underway, with a host of exciting activities planned for the day.
In addition to the competing artists, several renowned guest performers are set to take the stage, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees.
The event will kick off at 10 am, and admission will be free of charge, ensuring that music enthusiasts from all walks of life can enjoy the festivities.
The following groups have emerged victorious from their respective provinces and have earned the opportunity to compete in the Chibuku Road to Fame National Finals:
- Mashonaland East: Famous Mighty Boys (Zim Dancehall)
- Midlands: 911 (Afro-jazz)
- Mashonaland Central: Hi-Five (Afro-fusion)
- Manicaland: Deze raWasu (Mbira music)
- Matebeleland North: Kweseka (Afro-fusion)
- Masvingo: Gutu Stars (Sungura)
- Harare: Mazwi (Afro Fusion)
- Matebeleland South: Ziyaduma Express (Sungura)
