CAPTION STORY: You might be forgiven for thinking that Covid-19 pandemic is over after seeing hundreds of passers- by standing at akimbo along Leopald Takawira Street and Park Lane to catch a glimpse of President Mnangagwa who was officiating at the launch of the Agricultural Finance Corporation formerly AgriBank downtown Harare. There was literally utter commotion as scores of passers-by took vantage positions to see their President in defiance of Covid-19 restriction to social distance while the security personnel had a quite hectic day to try and ensure the situation doesn’t degenerate into chaos. Men, women and children including vendors and shop owners momentarily forget about doing business to witness the grand occasion. And President Mnangagwa’s convoy proved to be a crowd pleaser as cars sped-off from zero to 100 within the short distance beating the red traffic lights.
