HARARE – Winter nights in Zimbabwe are about to get a whole lot hotter.
The Mighty Zambezi Bonfire — dubbed Zimbabwe’s Own Bonfire — is making a roaring return this July, and Donnybrook Park will never be the same again.
Set for 4 July 2026, the event promises to be the ultimate winter warmer. Organised by Delta Beverages, the bonfire will be the biggest yet, with flames leaping high into the chilly night sky while revellers huddle close — ice-cold Zambezi Lager in hand, of course.
Because nothing says winter like a blazing fire, a cold beer, and a sizzling braai.
But that’s not all. Energy levels will be off the charts, on and off the stage, as a line-up of DJs and performing artists take turns turning up the heat.
While organisers are keeping the artist roster under wraps for now, one thing is certain: this is one party you do not want to miss.
The last edition of the Mighty Zambezi Lager Bonfire felt less like winter and more like a full-blown summer heatwave — pure vibes, no chill.
So mark your calendars, gather your crew, and brace yourselves for a night of fire, music, and frosty beers.
