Ark of God’s Covenant Ministry (AGCOM) founder and general overseer Apostle John Chi who is the spiritual son of the late Prophet TB Joshua, has rallied Zimbabweans from all the country’s spectrum to throng City Sports Centre in Harare today for his maiden crusade.

Apostle Chi jetted into Harare on Tuesday for a two-day crusade dubbed Healing Our Land Zimbabwe, which will take place today and tomorrow at the City Sports Centre in Harare, where thousands of people from diverse walks of life will come together in unison to worship God.

Speaking at a press conference today in Harare yesterday, the Cameroonian born clergyman who was one of the disciples of the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Prophet TB Joshua first heaped praise on President Emmerson Mnangagwa for guiding Zimbabwe to prosperity.

“I want to commend His Excellency, President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s dedication to the path of peace, which is guiding the country to prosperity, anchored on love and national cohesion. He is indeed a torch bearer and a shining example for the people of Zimbabwe. May the Lord continue to inspire and direct him,” he said.

During his time at SCOAN, Apostle Chi performed incredible miracles at the Prayer Line during the popular live Sunday services in Nigeria.

Born in the year 1976 in Esu, Menchum Division of the North West Region, Apostle Chi said the coming crusade will be more than a stage for prayer, deliverance and healing.

“I am not only here to pray for the sick or to deliver the oppressed, I am also  here to share with fellow servants of God, leaders and the people of Zimbabwe  as a whole, what God has given me. Good people of Zimbabwe, no one is left out from this blessing, so join us at City Sports Centre Harare on the 18th and 19th of October for a 2-day crusade as from 4pm daily.

“Jesus Christ is about to restore you back to the original position in which you were created to be. I’m also inviting pastors and business leaders for a conference on the 20th of October 2024, I believe the Lord will move mightily as we empower and impart each other. Freely I have received, and so freely I give. Come and be blessed in the name of Jesus Christ,” he said.

Having left SCOAN in 2013, Chi has carried the late TB Joshua’s legacy with distinction, spreading the gospel far and wide across the continent and beyond.

He said Zimbabwe is a nation made after God’s own heart.

“Nothing makes us love our nation, our continent, our leaders, as much as praying for them. We have been encouraged to pray without ceasing. Consequently, in times like this, we must exercise our duty to pray, being confident that God will answer us. In Amos 3 verse 3, the Bible says two believers are better than one when they agree. The Heal our Land Zimbabwe Crusade is for us men and women of God, to come together and rededicate ourselves, our leaders, our nations, our lands, our continent back to God,” he said.

“We are here to pray for the nation and as commanded by God in the Bible, children of God are mandated to pray for the leadership. As my mentor and father senior prophet tb Joshua of blessed memory always said, the concept of Christianity and good citizenship are inseparable, they both are synonymous. Whatever makes you a good Christian, makes you a good citizen.”

Citing 1 Timothy 2:1-3, he said that petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgiving must be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, “that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Saviour.”
