Sungura proponent Solo Moyo has released his latest singe titled Sorry and it is a scorcher proving critics wrong that he is not a copycat.
The diminutive Moyo expounds in the hit song that he is nowhere near a carbon copy to anybody, suffice to say, talent cannot be restricted.
In the danceable song, the stylish musician voices that critics should accept the reality that music transcends appreciation levels. It is relative. He adds that there’s no curse in talent similarity save to appreciate what is gifted to an artist.
He also voices concern over those who want to dictate what style musicians should follow from the armchair.
“I have problems with people who think l’m here to copy anyone. I have my style of music and it’s up to the people to judge. I have to say it point blank that l have no business copying anyone. Fans must understand the dynamism of music and how it evolves. Sorry, pun intended, to those who take my message with sour grapes,” he said with a trademark cheeky chuckle.
His crisp charming voice defies the message he puts across within the veins of stable bass and poignant rhythm guitars.

On the other hand, his music lovers enjoy fulfilment from Solo’s music who churns out songs in this genre which has laid roots so deep that it cannot be wished away. Neither can a single musician monopolize the sungura beat, at least according to Sorry.
