MASVINGO — Sanganai/Hlanganani/Dzimbahwe may have come and gone, but for Masvingo’s night owls, San Siro remains the undisputed heartbeat of the city’s after-dark scene.
Exhibitors, buyers and music lovers alike converged at the popular nightspot for the unofficial After Party, where the beats were as plentiful as the braai.
When the conference halls went dark and the exhibition stands were packed away, all roads led to San Siro — where partygoers danced until the early hours of the morning.
Located just outside the city centre, San Siro offers ample parking and plenty to keep patrons entertained. A media cocktail held San Siro courtesy of ZimParks was an eye opener.

For those who prefer to mix and mingle, the ground floor is the place to be — open to all and sundry, buzzing with energy and conversation.
Upstairs, the VIP section is where Masvingo’s who’s who gather — the well-to-do, the connected, the ones who prefer their nightlife with a side of exclusivity.
But for Sanganai/Hlanganani/Dzimbahwe guests, San Siro rolled out the red carpet. Visitors received the full VIP treatment, with comfortable seating, flowing drinks and music that kept the energy high.
At the VIP, business deals are quietly sealed between sips and songs, even as the dancefloor below brings together people from all walks of life.
Like any true uptown club, San Siro is that late-night bar where everything goes after midnight — where the music is loud, the lights are low and the vibe is infectious.
To be fair, the VIP experience is not without its quirks.
Pickpockets are not a concern, but the bouncers could use a crash course in hospitality. A little more respect for VIP guests would not go amiss. A gentle reminder: even the well-heeled deserve a warm welcome.
Still, Sanganai/Hlanganani/Dzimbahwe breathed new life into what was already a must-visit Masvingo institution.
The expo may have ended, but San Siro proved that the party does not stop when the official programme does.
So next time you find yourself in Masvingo, do yourself a favour — pass by San Siro. You never know what you’ve been missing.
