Newbie on the Zim dancehall scene — Kim Fire — has honoured Soul Jah Love ahead of the Commemoration Gala scheduled for August 6, 2022 at Andy Millar-Glamis Arena.
The song which is on ChillSpot Records produced riddim will feature a number of talented artists according to DJ Fantan.
In the song, Kim Fire why death robbed the Zim dancehall industry of Soul Jah Love. He laments that death let a void following the demise of Soul Jah Love whose real name is Soul Muzavazi Musaka. Kim Fire sings:

Magheto akuchema ko sei mwana wekwa musaka

Organisers of the gala Chipaz Promotions said they have also added more artists on the performing line up to ensure there is diversity and several acts to entertainment the masses.
In an interview at the weekend, Partson Chipaz Chimbodza confirmed the venue was ideal for the gala.
“After wide consultations we realised that City Sports Centre could not carter for everyone and yet Soul Jah Love was a man of the people. So, we then settled for the Andy Millar -Glamis Arena which is a central place and good in terms of logistics. We now have more performing artists and that calls for big stage,” Chipaz said.
Some of the heavy hitters on the line up are Supa Yut, Seh Calaz, Killer T, Freeman, Dzadza D, Kinna, King Shaddy, Hwindi President, Enzo Ishall, Tocky Vibes, Blot, Jah Master, Lady Squanda, Uncle Epatan, Chipoko Cha Sauro, Silent Killer, Bazooker and Pumacol to mention but some.
Born Soul Musaka, the Zim dancehall star was given a Liberation hero status by Zanu PF and was interred at a provincial heroes acre at Warren Hills Cemetery.
Soul Jah Love aka Chibaba died aged 31 after succumbing to diabetes. His music imprint and influence was largely inspired by his lyrical prowess so much that up to now he is ranked among the best to ever do it in Zim dancehall.
