By Ruvimbo Muchenje

Ricky Fire is basking in newly found fame following his support for Citizens Coalition for Change.

The Kumba Kunouya Kuno singer has become a fixture at every other CCC star rallies where he thrills big crowds.

His signature sky-high leaps on stage has also mesmerised not only the multitudes but also the opposition leader Nelson Chamisa who also shows his fancy footwork.

Born Thulani Takavada, the Fire President as he is affectionately known in Zim dancehall, is cashing up while he entertains CCC supporters.

Clad in his yellow outfit with a matching Turban, Ricky Fire appears to have been given a new lifeline as he performs as the main act at the CCC by election campaign rallies across the country.

So far, he has shown great enthusiasm as people show him love something that he hasn’t been able to do in music.

Ricky Fire is one of the pioneering Zim dancehall artists having made the huge splash with his club bangers —- Kumba Kunouya Kuno and Kana Uchiti Unotamba.

Also a major player at Sting contests hosted by Chipaz Promotions, Ricky Fire is known for his high energy performances.
