American rapper Rick Ross suffered a setback soon after touching down at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport.
The Maybach Music boss’ chauffeur driven Mercedes Benz had a tyre puncture on Friday afternoon few seconds before he left the airport.
Rick Ross was unshaken by the setback and instead he remained calm and hyped up for the concert.
The Aston Martin hitmaker is set to stage what he called “the biggest performance” tonight at the Harare International Conference Centre.
In his latest promo video Rozay warned Zimbabweans to brace up for the concert.
“Zimbabwe are you ready?” he asked.
There is so much anticipation about the concert with most fans excited to see Rick Ross on stage.
Rick Ross will headline the concert that will see some of the best acts in the region performing.
Also on the line-up is South Africa’s chart topper Nasty C who will lead a coterie of young Zimbabwean rappers as curtain raisers for Rick Ross.
Others are on the bill are DJs Rimo, MadeHerBalieve, King Her, MC Cut and MC Tatts among others.
The show comes a day after the historic coup that ousted President Mugabe.
And Rick Ross will no doubt make his presence felt through a top notch act as he promised to drink from the bottle like what he sings in one of his songs where he says “Belaire here, Belaire there, Belaire everywhere.”
Given the hype obviously the show does not come cheap and not meant for every other Tom, Dick and Harry.
Rozay has done collaborations with several artistes the likes of P Square, Mary J Blige, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, French Montana, P Diddy and disgraced R&B sensation R Kelly, among others.
Also worth noting is that Nasty C who will be performing as a supporting act is also billed to perform at the MTV Europe Music AwardS 2022.—GemNation/Expressmailzim
