REVIEW: Silent Killer talks Mulundukwa and something in between

By Jonathan Mbiriyamveka

Sometimes music does not have to make sense to either the singer or the listener and Silent Killer knows this.

This is because as long as there is a beat or lyrics we are bound to listen or to dance to it.

It is not always that a great song should make sense NO! At times it is just the rhyme and no reason that fans enjoy.

Silent Killer has dropped his latest single Mulundukwa, not sure what it is but in the video there is a lot of booty shaking and twerking going on.

Mulundukuwa is the latest phrase in the streets courtesy of Silent Killer and in the song he displays great word plays and rhyme more than anything else.

It is punchline after punchline as he goes back to his signature talking style which he successfully did in his previous works Ngirozi Yehondo and Mazita among others.

But on Mulundukwa we somehow get the picture that he is talking about drugs and of course love making. He mentions bedroom and then passage.

The one thing he managed to do was talk about the drugs and S_x in a way that fans never even imagined.

And the visuals are pretty confusing although shot by SAP courtesy of Passion Java Records, the Oskid produced track is lukewarm.

Yes there is great energy in the video and this is what will keep fans glued to the video. However, SAP could have done better in projecting the dances.

What was the point of putting that “system failure’ error in the middle of action? Seriously who does that?

Other than that, it is a great song though poorly executed visuals which appear like it was rushed. Good thing Silent Killer is back on the radar and we expect more and more from him.
