REVIEW: Sebastian ropes in Herman on Shaina

By Jonathan Mbiriyamveka

Musician Sebastian Magacha has roped in the fresh voice of Herman on a collaboration called Shaina.

The feel good track is about restoring hope which is essentially what’s needed during these trying times.

Both artists blend well displaying their vocal range in a way that makes you love and enjoy the track.

Herman has that distinct voice obviously like a child star that he is and he sounds comfortable in his voice.

Sebastian complements Herman as they exchange verses in a nice way that makes the tune nice and mellow.

The one good about the track is that it sends out a positive message and the beat hits you between the ears and you find yourself humming to the lyrics as Herman rides over a lingering loop.

It is a perfect collabo and no one is shadowed as each takes a shot at it. Beautiful song for both young and the old and you can feel the vibe as much as the artists. While the song makes for great listening the video is all the more simple and displays great camera work by Andy Cutta.

About the song, Sebastian said: “This song was meticulously penned down with the aim of instilling hope in the broken and downtrodden soul. There comes a time in life when all hope is lost and we feel dejected and disheartened. Everything may seem like it’s crumbling around you and everyone has deserted you. However, Scripture tells us that, weeping may endure in the night but joy comes in the morning. So to the one feeling despondent and crushed in spirit, always take courage in The Lord for he makes things beautiful in his own time. The break of dawn will certainly come. Keep on believing in yourself, stay positive and you shall surely break forth.”
