Zimbabwe’s beatboxing maestro, Probeats, is set to electrify fans this Saturday at the Ngoto Craft Lager Sundown Serenade.
The event kicks off at 4 PM at the Food Emporium in Marimba and promises an unforgettable evening of music, entertainment, and premium cocktails.
The award-winning artist, born Takudzwa Mashonganyika, will headline the show where entry is a modest US$5.
Known for his jaw-dropping ability to mimic beats and instruments using his lips, tongue, and voice, Probeats has elevated beatboxing into a celebrated art form in Zimbabwe and beyond.
This event is hosted by Media House Nhandaro Group Pvt Ltd, the powerhouse behind Ngoto Craft Lager and Hdot Clothing Line.

Despite early discouragement, Probeats has climbed to the pinnacle of Zimbabwe’s entertainment scene.
From humble beginnings in Mufakose, he pursued his passion for music against all odds. While academic and societal pressures once sidelined his dreams, Probeats eventually found his niche—transforming simple vocal rhythms into complex musical arrangements.
“I wanted to be a rapper,” Probeats recalls, “but in the ghetto, rapping in English was seen as trying to be American. So, I turned to beatboxing to create instrumentals, and people loved it. That gave me the confidence to keep going.”
Over the years, his talent has transcended borders, earning him international acclaim. He won eight gold medals at the 2022 World Championship of Performing Arts in California and continues to delight fans globally with his unique performances.
