CAPTION STORY: There was good cheer on Wednesday at Society of Destitute Aged in Highfield where Delta Corporation staff donated groceries worth US$25 000.00 as part of their own contributions towards charity. The old people’s home has 14 male and 3 women elderly with the oldest being aged 88 and the youngest aged 74. Speaking at the handover ceremony, Patricia Murambinda, the Delta Corporation General Manager — Corporate Affairs, thanked the staff for the good gesture to the elderly. She said despite the negative impact of Covid-19, the staff were forthcoming with the contributions. Emilia Mukaratirwa, the director of SODA, thanked Delta Corporation and its entire staff for the groceries saying it would go a long way in feeding the elderly.
