NetOne recently donated essential hospital and clinic equipment to the Nyanga North community aimed at improving healthcare access and quality for all Zimbabweans in line with NDS and Vision 2030.
The donation included blood pressure machines, sugar testing kits, wheelchairs, hospital bed sheets, baby scales, and specialized lotions for individuals with albinism.
NetOne Group Chief Executive Officer Engineer Raphael Mushanawani said the contributions were not merely tools but lifelines that would enhance the capabilities of healthcare providers and improve the lives of individuals.
“This initiative embodies our commitment to ensuring that no one and no place is left behind in our pursuit of sustainable development and national progress.
“In the spirit of Vision 2030, which envisions a prosperous and empowered upper middle-income society, we recognize that robust healthcare systems are fundamental to achieving this goal.
“Health is a cornerstone of development, and by supporting the health infrastructure in Nyanga North, we are investing in the well-being and future of our nation. We believe that connectivity should translate into tangible improvements in the quality of life for every Zimbabwean, ensuring that all areas within our network reach benefit from our services and support,” Eng Mushanawani said.
Mr Mushanawani also honoured the healthcare workers in Nyanga North for their dedication and service saying it was the backbone of the initiative.
“We are honored to support your efforts and to work alongside you in improving healthcare outcomes. Your commitment inspires us, and we are here to ensure you have the necessary resources to continue your invaluable work.
By equipping healthcare facilities with modern tools and resources, we are empowering healthcare professionals to provide better care and fostering healthier, more resilient communities,” he said.
He said under the visionary leadership of His Excellency President ED Mnangagwa, and guided by the NDS and Vision 2030, it was possible to build a healthier, stronger, and more prosperous Zimbabwe.
