Bulawayo’s finest host and radio presenter — Morris Touch — is back on the airwaves every Sunday on ZiFM Stereo starting at 10am to 2pm.
The dapper DJ who took break on local radio will be spinning the records on The Art of Soul on ZiFM Stereo like no man’s business.
Commenting on his return to local radio Morris Touch told Gem Nation News that the show will be well curated for discerning audiences.
“I will be hosting The Art of Soul every Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00, the show intends on offering a mature yet timeless approach to radio programming. It is a well put together show that exhibits a high level of musical understanding. An ideal point of relaxation for a listener, curated against a background of romantic and of reliving nostalgic moments that shaped our lives,” he said.
He explained further when asked to comment on how he manages to double up as master of ceremonies and radio: “The media space has so much to offer so there is so much to do within that space coupled with events and community/youth development programs that I’m heavily involved in.
“Both crafts have given me so much in so many ways hence it’s a bit challenging for me to pick one, I started out as an MC way before I got on to radio and I would say a conversation about me without mention of being an MC won’t be complete.”
On the other hand, he said, radio rewarded him handsomely over the years and continued to fulfill a greater part of him.
“Both craft deserve the same attention and respect. The difference is being myself and knowing that markets of any nature gravitate towards originality, I also know that I’m one person who does not shy away of coming up with a playlist of never heard music or not so popular type of sound. I believe that we are there to introduce music to our audience and give them an experience of different sounds from around the World,” Morris Touch said.
So make a date this and every Sunday with Morris Touch, don’t say we didn’t tell you!
